Built in 1865, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa owned by and named after the family of the Duke of Westminster, Gerald Grosvenor, is situated in the centre of historic Chester.
The Chester Grosvenor has 80 luxury bedrooms and suites, beautifully appointed and furnished with the finest furniture and fabrics. All have cable TV, telephone, safety deposit box, trouser press, bathrobes and are fully air-conditioned.
There are two superb restaurants, The Arkle, which has held a Michelin star for the last 17 years, is open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. The adjoining Library and Archive, open 7 days a week, are ideal for morning coffee, light lunches, afternoon tea and evening drinks. La Brasserie, an informal Parisian style restaurant, is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
The Grosvenor Spa, located in the heart of the hotel offers holistic body and soul rituals including Lastone Therapy, Reiki, and Indian Head massage. The Spa also offers a range of Elemis rituals and tailor made treatments from Molton Brown. The spa is open to both residents and non-residents and offers a selection of half-day and day packages.
